Ad Requirements

Although the grabber ads can be created by the user, there are certain requirements to get the desired effect. The maximum file size for main and background image is 500kb.

Main Image
The main image recommended dimensions are 1024 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. To get an effect like the image below, simply create your main image as a gif with transparency.

If your image is wider than 1024 pixels, it will be resized to fit. Keep in mind that when it is resized it may not be as high as it was originally, and images that are not uploaded at the recommended dimensions will give various results.

Background Image
The background image recommended dimensions area 100 pixels high and any size wide with a maximum of 1024 pixels. The width isn’t as important for the background image because the background image tiles horizontally. To create the effect of the “see through” image in the main image, a transparency effect will be needed to be applied to the background image as well. The background image is not a required image as the default background will be white. In the example below, the background image is 100 pixels high by 100 pixels wide, but when tiled it will keep the line going across the screen.

It looks smaller than 100 pixels because there are around 20 pixels of “transparency” to allow it to lie overtop of the website.
