The Header Graphic

The “Header Graphic” is located either above or below your top navigation depending on your style of design. If you would like to add, edit or delete your header graphic you are able to do that here. Header graphics can be in image or flash movie (swf) format. This module supports multiple header graphics that can be uploaded for each area or page.

Header Graphic Options

To access the header graphic options:

1. Click the “Admin” link in the top navigation.
2. Click the “Header Graphic” link in the side navigation.

Display type: Choose either static or rotate. By default “Static” will be selected.

Enable link to home page allows you to turn your header graphic into a link that will take the user back to your home page. To enable this feature click the checkbox.

Click the “Save” button to save your options.

Adding a Header Graphic

1. Navigate to the header graphic section (see above) and go to the bottom of the page to the box labeled: “Design->Header Graphic->Upload”.

2. Click the “Browse” button to select the image you would like to add.
3. If you are uploading a static image you will see an area drop down to select from where you can select a certain area and a page drop down to select from. If you would like to have the same image on every area then select the “Admin (default)” area. If you select an area and a page, the page will over-ride the area selection.
4. The maximum size for header graphics is 500kb. Also note that you image will be resized to a width of 760, so it is highly recommended that you make your image this size before uploading it.
5. Click the “Save” button to upload your image.
    

If you would like to edit or delete your header graphic, the images that have already been uploaded will be displayed above the header graphic upload tool and will list which area or page they are applied to.
