Areas are the sections or folders that hold your subsections (pages). These enable you to have a neatly organized website. Areas are located in the top navigation, as shown in the highlighted box below.

To add an area, please follow these steps.


  1. Click the “Admin” link in the top navigation.

  2. Click the “Area” link in the side navigation.



  1. Create a name for your area.

    There are three different ways to create an area. First way is to create an area with no pages or links. When an area has no pages or link, it will not display on the front of your website.

    To create an area that links to another page or website, click the second radio option. You should now be able to see options to configure your link


Here you can enter your link and the target. You can have the link go to a “New Window” or “Same Window”.

The last and most common way to create an area is to create a page with the same name as the area with one of the modules. Click the third radio option to select this option. You should now be able to see a list of available module page types.


  1. Click the “Save” button

Your new area should now be displayed in the top navigation bar. To learn how to edit or delete your area please refer to the “Site Map” portion of the manual.
