Ordering Blocks of Information

Another good reason to use blocks of information is the ability to re-order them on the fly. Suppose you had a listing of business and information for each of them. This would allow you to insert new businesses between them, or re-order them without having to add each one again.

When you create a new block of information, an order number will be automatically assigned to it with an increment of ten. You may number these however you wish.

To change the order of the blocks of information, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the page that you would like to re-order.

  2. Simply change the number to something that will place the information above or below a different block of information. For example, to move the second block above the first block, lets change the bottom block from 10 to 1, and the top block from 1 to 10:

  1. To save the order of the blocks, click the “Save Order” button. Now when you look at the page, the two blocks should be reversed.

  2. Remember that you can number the blocks in any sequence you like, but we suggest increments of ten because that way it is easier to add new blocks between them in the future.
