Adding a Property

To create a property, scroll down the page to the box labeled “Realty Listing > Add Property”. There are four parts to adding a new property: “Title/Description”, “Address” “Detail”, and “Images”.

The first step is creating the description, which can be entered using the Rich Text Editor. This it the only required field to create a property.

There are three other fields to this part that are to do with the realtor information. So as a realtor, this is useful for people who would like to contact you about this listing. So providing a “Realtor Name”, “Realtor Email”, and “Email Subject”, will do just that.

The second part is the address. To expand the address options click the “Address” tab. Here is where you can add the address information for the property, such as city, province, and postal code. These fields are optional.

The third part is the property details. Click the “Details” tab to expand the details options. This is where you can specify property information such as MLS, property type, number of baths and rooms, floor area, etc. All of these fields are optional.

The last part is images. To expand the image options, click the “Images” tab. To add an image click the “Browse” button and locate your image. Notice there is also an order box. Once you save your property, if you like, you can go back and add more images and order those images. Remember that the maximum image size is 500kb. When you have completed your property, click “Save Property”.

After your property has been added you will be able to view the current properties under the box labeled “Realty Listing”.

Here you are able to edit, delete, and re-order your properties. To re-order your properties click the “Save Order” button.

To view your realty listing, log out of the administration and navigate to the page that you added the “Realty Listing” module. See the example below:

To see more information about the property, click the “More Information” link.
