Accepting a Chat Request

When someone has requested a chat with you, the main instant message tool bar will be replaced by a “Chat Requests.”

Click the “Chat Requests” link.

The Chat Requests will show who is sending the request. To accept click “Accept” and if you click “Skip” it won't decline the request, but simply hide the chat request bar. If you click accept a new window will popup, which is the chat window. If you clicked skip accidentally and decide you would like to talk to that person you can click the “Chats” and then click “Open Chat Window” beside the user.
